What are the features of the Canister vacuum cleaner?

1.Upright: They are usually round or square-shaped, consisting of two parts - the upper part with the motor, which is the power source, and the lower part with the dust collection box.
2.Canister: They are rectangular or car-shaped, with two parts - the front part for dust collection and the rear part for the motor.
3.Portable: They generally come in four forms: shoulder-type (smaller in size, worn on the shoulder while in use, lower power), stick-type (resembling a stick with a handle on the top and a nozzle at the bottom, lower power), handheld (smaller in size, held directly in hand, lower power), and mini (powered by batteries, smaller in size, used for cleaning clothes and instruments).

Based on the driving motor, vacuum cleaners can be further divided into AC-powered, DC-powered, and AC/DC dual-use types.

When purchasing a canister vacuum cleaner, the following factors should be considered:

1.The rated input power should match the rated capacity of the household electricity supply, typically below 1500 watts.
2.The appliance should have complete electrical parameters (power voltage, power nature symbol, power frequency, manufacturer or brand, etc.) listed on the nameplate.
3.Vacuum cleaners produced by reputable manufacturers should have sturdy and neat packaging, complete user manual, qualification certificate, warranty certificate, and full set of accessories. The appearance should be smooth and elegant.
4.The connections between different parts of the vacuum cleaner, especially the junction between the dust collection part and the power part, should be tight.

To test this, turn on the power switch and bring your hand close to the joint. If there is no airflow leakage, it indicates good sealing; otherwise, it is poor. Vacuum cleaners with poor sealing not only have poor suction performance but also consume more electricity.

5.Vacuum cleaners rely on motor-driven fan blades to create a certain negative pressure. Therefore, when evaluating their dust removal performance, you can open the power and place your hand close to the suction inlet to see if there is obvious suction. The stronger the suction, the better the dust or water suction effect of the appliance, and vice versa.
6.Nowadays, canister vacuum cleaners often come with an automatic cord rewinding function. Try pulling out a section of the power cord and press the rewind button to check if it operates smoothly and reliably (except for cordless vacuum cleaners).
7.It is preferable to choose a vacuum cleaner with minimal noise.
8.Check if the vacuum cleaner you intend to purchase has the 3C certification mark.

The recommended usage environment for canister vacuum cleaners is as follows:

        1.Altitude below 1000m.
2.Ambient air temperature not exceeding +40°C.
3.Relative humidity of the ambient air: 25% to 90%.

Precautions for using a canister vacuum cleaner:

1.Before use, verify that the voltage of the power supply at the location matches the rated voltage of the vacuum cleaner.
2.Before use, remove sharp dirt, cigarette butts, paper scraps, etc., from the cleaning area to prevent them from entering the hose and blocking the air inlet or dust passage, which can cause the vacuum cleaner to malfunction or even pose a fire hazard, affecting personal safety.
3.Dry vacuum cleaners should not be used to suck damp soil or dirty water to avoid damaging the motor.

4.Do not operate the vacuum cleaner continuously for an extended period, generally not exceeding 2 hours, as it may affect its service life.
5.If any foreign object blocks the suction tube during use, stop using it immediately and remove the object before restarting, as it may cause the motor to burn out.
